2023-24 Program Season

The Salem City Club 2023–2024 Program Season (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024) featured a diverse lineup of programs that encouraged thoughtful discussion and civic learning. Over the course of the year, members and guests explored pressing local, state, and national issues through presentations and conversations with leaders in government, education, business, and community organizations. Each program was designed to shed light on the opportunities and challenges facing Salem and Oregon. Topics ranged from public policy and economic trends to environmental stewardship, cultural life, and the future of democracy. By bringing together a wide variety of perspectives, the Club provided a forum where respectful dialogue and informed debate could thrive. The season reflected Salem City Club’s ongoing commitment to strengthening civic engagement. Through these programs, participants gained insights that deepened their understanding of complex issues and enriched their role as active, engaged citizens.
