The Trump administration has tried to severely restrict or stop mail-in voting in Oregon and other states.  Tactics have ranged from demands for sensitive voter information, to executive orders, to threats of lawsuits, and more, and have made for an uncertain, unsettling mid-term election landscape.

How are these tactics affecting the bedrock of our free and fair elections-election administration, election worker responsibilities and morale, and voter trust and turnout?

Dr. Paul Gronke, founder of the Election Voting and Information Center (EVIC), will provide an inside look at this critically important issue.  Beginning in 2018, the EVIC team has employed their Local Election Official (LEO) survey every year, in every Oregon county, to investigate challenges faced by county election offices.
