Mid-Valley Mentors mentors children and adults affected by incarceration. A panel of speakers will discuss how the mentoring program provides a second chance for prisoners released from the state prison into Marion County to successfully transition back into society. This mentoring program and the Re-Entry Initiative have contributed to a significantly reduced the recidivism rate for Marion County, and is a possible model for other counties in the state. Learn how and why this program succeeds.
