Arguments For and Against the $82 Million Police Facility Bond Measure

Speakers:

T.J. Sullivan and Brian Hines

Ask most people in the community if they think a new police facility is needed in Salem and they will say, “Yes,” but then ask them if they are willing to pay more property taxes to do it and the answers are very mixed.

Join us for a lively debate between TJ Sullivan, chair of the City’s Blue Ribbon Task Force that originally proposed an $82 million police facility bond measure and Brian Hines, treasurer of Salem Can Do Better PAC, who will present in opposition to the measure.
