Evidence Based Medicine: How Can This be a New Idea?

WILLAMETTE HERITAGE CENTER (SPINNING ROOM)
- 11:30 AM LUNCH
- 12 PM PROGRAM

As consumers of health care, what should we consider when seeking care and discussing treatment with our healthcare providers? Evidence of treatment value might be the first item on our list. But surprisingly, evidence for the effectiveness of healthcare treatment is often limited or non-existent. Join us for another program in our ongoing Healthcare Series devoted to what you should know about how the "new" practice of evidence-based medicine is impacting health care and the questioning benefits of treatment (or lack thereof) for patients and its significance for the health care industry.

You must RSVP if you plan to have lunch.
Members: no charge
NON-Members: $10
Lunch (optional): $20

**CANCELLATION POLICY: Meal registrations are non-refundable. You can cancel a lunch reservation before 5:00 pm on Tuesday.  If you do not cancel and you do not attend, you will still owe Salem City Club the luncheon amount.
