As a part of the Salem Public Library’s Salem Reads program, Salem City Club has invited Dr. Andrew Fountain, Department of Geology, Portland State University, to help our audience understand glaciers.

Dr. Andrew Fountain studies the dynamics of glaciers in the Arctic, Antarctica and western North America. The presentation will be an introduction to glaciers, some of which are found in Oregon, and how they play a globally important role over the next century and beyond.  Presented in partnership with the Salem Public Library Foundation,  Salem Reads: One Book, One Community program.  The 2019 book is Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton.

You must RSVP if you plan to have lunch.
Members: no charge   
NON-Members: $10 
Lunch (optional): $20


**CANCELLATION POLICY: Meal registrations are non-refundable. You can cancel a lunch reservation before 5:00 pm on Tuesday.  If you do not cancel and you do not attend, you will still owe Salem City Club the luncheon amount.
